For this purpose, the Facebook remarketing tag has been implemented on this website. Upon a visit to this website, a direct connection to the Facebook servers is established by means of this tag. In the course of this, Facebook is notified that you have visited this website and thus adds this information to your personal Facebook account. More detailed information concerning the collection and use of data by Facebook, as well as the rights and possibilities with regard to privacy protection are available in the Privacy Policy of Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. The browser of the website’s visitor stores so called “cookies,” which are text files stored on your computer enabling the user to be recognized when visiting websites that belong to the advertising network of Google. Advertisements related to contents accessed by the user on websites that implement the remarketing feature of Google can then be displayed to the user on those websites. According to its own statements, Google does not collect personal data in the course of this process. Nevertheless, if you still do not wish to use the remarketing feature of Google, you may totally deactivate it by adjusting the corresponding settings at: http://www.google.com/settings/ads. The information obtained by means of the cookie is used to compile conversion statistics for AdWords clients that have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords clients are notified about the total number of users that have clicked on their advertisement and have been forwarded to a web page furnished with a conversion tracking tag. However, no information that personally identifies the user is obtained in this process. Based on the Google marketing service “DoubleClick,” we can integrate our own advertisements or advertisements of third parties.  DoubleClick uses cookies which enable Google and its partner sites to place advertisements based on users’ visits to this site or other sites on the Internet.
